Kanye West’s Yeezy Website Shut Down & Rapper Is Dropped By Music Agent Following Antisemitic Rants

Kanye West is facing backlash over his antisemitic rants online. His website, Yeezy.com is no longer online days after he used a Super Bowl commercial on Feb. 9 to send people to the site, which was selling T-shirts featuring a swastika. Now when visitors try to go on the Yeezy site, they are met with an error message. Shopify, the host of West’s website told The Hollywood Reporter and Variety in statement on Feb. 11 that the swastika shirt violated its policy but didn’t clarify which terms were violated. That isn’t the only fallout Ye is facing. On Monday Feb. 10, he was dropped by his music agent, Daniel McCartney of 33&West. All of this comes days after Ye’s Super Bowl ad aired. According to Variety, the ad was not shown nationally, it was only broadcast in Los Angeles and shot on an iPhone. It featured the rapper sitting at the dentist telling fans to go on his website where he was only selling one item of clothing—a white t-shirt with a black swastika on the front. A few days prior to the ad, the Grammy winner shared a slew of offensive antisemitic messages on his X account, which has since been deactivated.
