Renée Zellweger Gushes Over Working With Leo Woodall & Chiwetel Ejiofor On Latest ‘Bridget Jones’

Renée Zellweger is returning to her beloved role as Bridget Jones! At the premiere of “Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy,” the fourth installment in the film series, Renée spoke to Access Hollywood guest correspondent Emily Orozco about what she appreciates about the relatable character. “I just love how inspirational she is. She’s kind of embracing the messiness of life,” she shared. “She kind of gives us permission to be our own imperfect selves, because she triumphs anyway.” Renée also gushed over working with Leo Woodall and Chiwetel Ejiofor on the project, saying, “It’s not hard to be friends with those guys. They’re so lovely, so talented. I’m so lucky.” Plus, Renée shared her Oscars memories and weighed in on if she’d be down for a “Jerry Maguire” sequel. “Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy” is streaming February 13 on Peacock.
