Wendy Williams’ Guardian Requests New Medical Evaluation After TV Host Denies Being Incapacitated

Wendy Williams’ recent claims that she is “not incapacitated” by dementia has reportedly prompted her guardian to request a new medical evaluation. According to documents obtained by multiple outlets, the Feb. 6 filing came hours after Williams’ latest comments in an interview on “The Breakfast Club.” “I don’t have frontotemporal dementia…it’s disgusting,” Williams claimed on the radio program. “That’s a very rare thing for anybody to have.” Williams’ guardian Sabrina Morrissey reportedly responded in the filing, noting that the TV host “has indicated that, in her opinion, she is not suffering from dementia and is not incapacitated.” Morrisey is now said to be requesting evaluation that “will involve comprehensive neurological and psychological testing by a specialist in the field.”
