Travis Kelce & Patrick Mahomes React To Donald Trump Attending Super Bowl: ‘A Great Honor’
Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes are looking forward to playing at the Super Bowl in front of President Donald Trump. The Kansas City Chiefs players are reacting to the news that Trump plans to attend the big game on Sunday. “I think you know, no matter who the president is, I know I’m excited because it’s the biggest game of my life, you know, and having the president there — it’s the best country in the world — and that’s pretty cool,” the tight end said in a press conference on Feb. 5. His comment comes after Trump’s controversial reaction to Travis’ girlfriend Taylor Swift endorsing Kamala Harris in the 2024 election. “I actually like Mrs. Mahomes much better, if you want to know the truth. She’s, she’s a big Trump fan. I was not a Taylor fan,” Trump said in a September interview on Fox News. Mahomes was also asked about Trump’s Super Bowl attendance and said, “It’s always cool to be able to play in front of a sitting president.”
