Meghan Markle & Billie Eilish Surprise Teen Who Lost Home In Los Angeles Fires

Meghan Markle and Billie Eilish teamed up to give back. On Feb. 4, the Duchess of Sussex revealed she pulled off an epic surprise for a teenage girl who lost everything in the recent Los Angeles wildfires, with the help of the Grammy winner. “I was just told that something arrived that I have been waiting for,” the 43-year-old said in the video shared on Instagram. Meghan then explained that she met this 15-year-old girl and her mom while visiting Altadena, Calif. after the devastating fires with her husband, Prince Harry. “Her mom shared something with me and said that when they came back to see their house for the first time, which is as we were meeting them, that all she’d been looking for in her home was the T-shirt from the Billie Eilish concert that she had just gone to,” the Duchess of Sussex said. As they were evacuating their home, they said the teen left the shirt in the washing machine or dryer. “And of course they now see their home and the washing machine, their dryer, are ash. They’re not there anymore,” Meghan said. Although the actress admitted she didn’t know the Grammy winner personally, she was going to do what she could to get her that shirt and that she did! “You guys, I don’t even know what all this stuff means but it’s signed for her,” she said. The Eaton fire that impacted Altadena is now 100 percent contained and killed 17 people. The Palisades fire is also 100 percent contained as of Feb. 4 killed 12 people.
