Teddi Mellencamp Gets Support From Kyle Richards, Andy Cohen & More Amid Brain Tumor Diagnosis
Former “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Teddi Mellencamp is revealing a devastating health update. The reality star shared on Instagram Feb. 13 that doctors discovered brain tumors after she experienced severe headaches that led her to be hospitalized. “After a CT scan and an MRI, doctors found multiple tumors on my brain, which they believe have been growing for at least 6 months. Two of the tumors will be surgically removed today – the remaining smaller tumors will be dealt with via radiation at a later date,” she wrote in part. Following her post, the 43-year-old shared videos on her Instagram story as she got her hair shaved off at the hospital before her operation and then added another featuring former co-star and friend Kyle Richards, country singer Morgan Wade, and Teddi’s estranged husband Edwin Arroyave, with whom she shares three children. Kyle and Edwin also both posted to their social media, with the “Real Housewives” star sharing a picture of her friend and writing, “Love you @teddimellencamp.” Meanwhile, her estranged husband uploaded a video with their daughter Dove alongside the caption, “Thank you for all the prayers and love for @teddimellencamp.” Plus, Andy Cohen shared words of support on the Feb. 12 episode of “Watch What Happens Live.” “We know Teddi’s undergoing surgery tonight and is facing this challenge with courage and humor, surrounded by her family and close friends. Teddi, your Bravo family, your ‘Watch What Happens Live’ family is praying for you, too. We are sending you all our love and positive wishes. You are so strong. We love you and we are supporting you,” he said on air.
