Rihanna Speaks Out After A$AP Rocky Is Found Not Guilty In Gun Assault Trial
Rihanna is speaking out after A$AP Rocky was found not guilty on two felony counts of assault with a semiautomatic firearm on Tuesday, Feb. 18. The Fenty Beauty founder took to her Instagram story shortly after the verdict to share her reaction to the news. “The Glory belongs to God and God alone! Thankful, humbled by his mercy,” she wrote above an emoji of praying hands. Earlier Tuesday, A$AP, whose real name is Rakim Mayers, leapt into his longtime partner’s arms after the clerk read the verdict. A jury unanimously found the rapper not guilty after he was accused of shooting at his former friend, rapper Terrell Ephron, on a Hollywood street in 2021. If he had been found guilty, A$AP could have faced up to 24 years in prison. Rihanna and A$AP share two children together, RZA, 2, and Riot, 18 months. During the trial, the singer brought their children to the courtroom.
