Los Angeles News Anchor Chauncy Glover’s Cause Of Death Revealed Months After His Passing

The cause of death for Los Angeles news anchor Chauncy Glover has been revealed months after his sudden passing. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner announced in a news release on Feb. 19 that the journalist died of “acute intoxication by the combined effects of chloroethane and methamphetamine” and that the manner of death was ruled an accident. The medical examiner noted that Glover was found unresponsive in his home on Nov. 5 and was pronounced dead by fire department personnel at 12:40 a.m. It noted that the deputy medical examiner completed an examination on Nov. 6 and that the manner of death was certified on Feb. 19. The Emmy-winning journalist’s family announced his passing on Nov. 5 in a statement to KCAL, where he had been a news anchor for a year.
