Why Ransom Notes Are Now Being Released 6 Months After Nancy Guthrie’s Kidnapping

Even though it’s been 6 months since Savannah Guthrie’s mom Nancy was kidnapped from her Tucson home, authorities are still confident that they will find those responsible for the abduction. The 84-year-old was taken from her home on February 1st in the middle of the night. The Pima County Sheriff’s Department has released two ransom notes in the hopes someone may be able to recognize the characteristics of the language used and writing style that could call in a tip to help break the case. Savannah marked six months since her mom disappeared by posting a plea on Instagram for anyone with any information to reveal information to authorities.
