Simon Cowell’s ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ Postpones Auditions In Wake of Liam Payne’s Death

Taping on “Britain’s Got Talent” has been postponed after the passing of One Direction star Liam Payne. Simon Cowell, who created the show and serves as a judge, has a long history with the singer having played a role in the creation of the boy band that made Liam a household name. Auditions that were planned for the show in Blackpool, England, on Oct. 17 were postponed after news of Payne’s death. The 31-year-old died the previous day after falling from a hotel balcony in Argentina.
