President Donald Trump Says ‘Bulls***’ In Heated D.C. Mid-Air Plane Crash Presser

President Donald Trump has issued his first on-camera remarks on the midair collision of an American Airlines passenger jet and a U.S. Army Helicopter near Reagan Washington National Airport on Jan.29. In a heated White House press conference the following morning, Trump falsely blamed diversity hiring for the tragedy and blasted the policies of former Presidents Joe Biden and Barack Obama in his comments. He also called Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg’s time in office “a good line of bull***,” to which Buttigieg responded on social media. “Despicable. As families grieve, Trump should be leading, not lying. We put safety first, drove down close calls, grew Air Traffic Control, and had zero commercial airline crash fatalities out of millions of flights on our watch,” he wrote. New Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Vice President JD Vance also addressed reporters. U.S. figure skaters and their coaches and families were among the 64 people killed on the American Eagle civilian jet, whose flight route was from Wichita Kansas to D.C, plus three people onboard the Black Hawk helicopter. The two aircrafts crashed in the Potomac River.
