Lindsey Vonn’s Olympic dream isn’t over yet! The 41-year-old spoke out after her crash during her final downhill race before the Milan Cortina Winter Olympics on Jan. 30, giving fans an update on her condition. “I crashed today in the Downhill race in Switzerland and injured my left knee. I am discussing the situation with my doctors and team and will continue to undergo further exams,” she said in a statement shared on Instagram. But the gold medalist did give fans hope in her statement, telling them, “if there’s one thing I know how to do, it’s a comeback.” “My Olympic dream is not over,” she added. “Thank you for all of the love and support. I will give more information when I have it.” Lindsey’s statement came hours after she crashed in her final downhill race before the Milan Cortina Winter Olympics, which start in one week. She lost control when landing a jump in a World Cup race on the Swiss Alps and got tangled in the safety net around the course. Once Lindsey made it down the hill she was airlifted from the mountain to seek medical attention. The 41-year-old is in the midst of her Olympic comeback and was expected to be one of the stars of the Winter Games. The Winter Olympics are from Feb. 6 to Feb. 22.
