Kate Middleton & Prince William Face Off Curling As Prince Harry Returns to UK For Trial
Kate Middleton is showing off her athletic talents! On Tuesday, Jan. 20, the Princess of Wales faced off in a curling competition against husband Prince William at the National Curling Academy in Stirling, Scotland. A video uploaded to the couple’s social media pages from their latest engagement show the duo taking turns “throwing a few stones.” However, Kate ended up winning their match, according to Daily Express Royal Editor Emily Ferguson, who was on scene. The royal couple also met with professional curlers from Team Great Britain and Paralympics Great Britain Curling teams ahead of the Winter Olympic Games. One photograph even highlighted the Princess of Wales high-fiving with Scottish curler Jennifer Dodds, likely taking place after her win. Meanwhile, as the duo spends time in Scotland, Prince Harry returned to the UK for his latest legal battle. The younger son of King Charles arrived at London’s High Court on Monday, Jan. 19, as he goes to trial in a case against the publishers of the Daily Mail. The trial is expected to last nine weeks.
