Ethan Slater Beams Over Ariana Grande & Cynthia Erivo’s ‘Wicked’ Oscar Nominations: ‘Really Proud’

Ethan Slater couldn’t be happier to be part of the “Wicked” family. The actor speaks with Access Hollywood guest correspondent Emily Orozco at the 2025 Critics Choice Awards, where he shares praise for co-stars Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo’s multiple award nominations for their work in the blockbuster. “They’re just unbelievable hard workers and unbelievable people to share it with. … It’s really special. I’m really proud,” he smiled. And, Ethan reveals that he’s as “on pins and needles” about Part 2, “Wicked: For Good,” as the rest of us are! “I’m dying to see it,” he said, adding, “It just deepens, you know? I think everybody thinks they know what their life is gonna be, and by the end of movie one realizes it’s not what it’s going to be at all.
