David Beckham Sends New Year’s Message To Brooklyn Beckham After His Absence From 2025 Family Recap

Is David Beckham hoping to mend his relationship with son Brooklyn in 2026? The soccer icon posted a New Year’s message to his eldest child amid their reported estrangement, sending love to Brooklyn and the rest of his immediate family in a series of throwback photos. David shared a sweet snap of himself posing with the now-26-year-old in their younger years, writing on his Instagram story, “I love you all so much” alongside a white heart emoji. The shoutout to Brooklyn accompanied other heartfelt notes to David and wife Victoria’s other kids, sons Cruz and Romeo, and daughter Harper. The latest development followed shortly after fans noticed that David had not included Brooklyn in a 2025 recap post on his IG grid. Victoria, Cruz, Romeo, Harper and other family members were featured, as well as milestone moments from the past year such as David’s royal knighting ceremony. The family’s rumored rift with Brooklyn picked up steam after he and wife Nicola Peltz skipped David’s 50th birthday party in May, weeks before renewing their vows without any of the Beckhams present for the ceremony. More recently, Cruz denied reports that David and Victoria had unfollowed Brooklyn on Instagram, claiming instead that he and his parents were blocked. As of New Year’s Day, it appears that neither Brooklyn nor Nicola are following his mom, dad or siblings and vice versa, and Brooklyn has yet to comment on Cruz’s blocking allegation.
