Selena Gomez Reveals She Can’t Carry Her Own Children Amid Health Issues: ‘Haven’t Ever Said This’

Selena Gomez is getting candid. The actress shared a personal revelation about her fertility in a new Vanity Fair profile published on Sept. 9. “I haven’t ever said this, but I unfortunately can’t carry my own children,” she shared, adding, “I have a lot of medical issues that would put my life and the baby’s in jeopardy. That was something I had to grieve for a while.” The 32-year-old went on to explain that surrogacy or adoption are still “huge possibilities” for her and said she’s excited for how her journey will play out. “At the end of the day, I don’t care. It’ll be mine. It’ll be my baby,” she added. In the profile, Selena also opened up about her relationship with boyfriend Benny Blanco, telling the mag, “I’ve never been loved this way.”
