Prince George’s 8th Birthday Portrait Pays Subtle Tribute To Great-Grandfather Prince Philip
Prince George isn’t the only one being honored in his 8th birthday photo. The young royal’s parents, Prince William and Kate Middleton, dropped an adorable new portrait of George ahead of his special milestone on July 22. George’s blonde locks and wide grin sparked immediate comparisons to William, but the portrait, taken by Duchess Kate, also includes a subtle nod to the late Prince Philip.
