Nikki Glaser Explains Why She ‘Kind Of’ Likes Boyfriend Chris Hooking Up With Other Women

Nikki Glaser is getting candid. During the April 8 episode of “Call Her Daddy” the comedian shared why she “kind of” likes her on-and-off boyfriend Chris Convy hooking with other women. Speaking with host Alex Cooper, Glaser explained that when they first started dating in 2013 during her late 20s, she enjoyed asking him about previous relationships. “It would make me horny to think about him doing that with other girls, and then I would ask about all of his girlfriends or anyone he had hooked up with like all the details about it and it would really be like foreplay for me,” she said, adding that he eventually had “gone through” all of his stories. “I felt so weird, but I was like, ‘I think I need you to go get some more stories,’” she recalled, additionally noting, “Maybe it’s my competitive nature. I want a guy who other girls want. I like something that is like, you know, you want a handbag that other girls like, ‘Oh my god, I’m dying to get that.’” The now-41-year-old went on to share her belief that when other women are attracted to men it’s “showing their value,” adding, “because I respect women and women’s opinions.” However, Glaser also maintained that it’s not a two-way street. “I’m not someone who likes to hook up when I’m in a relationship. I’m not really, like, I don’t really care about that. You know, but I don’t care if someone else were to. In fact, I like, kind of like it, it’s kind of, it’s a problem,” she said, though added that she wants women to be aware of the arrangement when situations occur so that they are actively choosing to participate. Earlier in the conversation, the two-time Golden Globes host also revealed that while she’s unbothered by physical cheating, she doesn’t feel as comfortable with emotional cheating and explained why she thinks commitment “innately” is “settling.”
