Michael J. Fox Calls Joining Coldplay Onstage At Glastonbury ‘F***ing Mind Blowing’

Coldplay was joined by a surprise guest onstage during their set at Glastonbury Festival over the weekend. The rock band brought out Michael J. Fox, who played guitar during their hit songs “Fix You” and “Humankind” on June 29. After “Fix You” initially ended, frontman Chris Martin gave a shoutout to the beloved actor. “Thank you so much everybody, and especially thank you to the main reason why we’re in a band is cause of watching ‘Back to the Future,’” the singer said, adding, “So, thank you to our hero forever and one of the most amazing people on earth, Mr. Michael J. Fox. Thank you so much Micheal, our hero.” Michael later reflected on his time with the band, describing it in an Instagram post as “f—ing mind-blowing.”
