Kate Middleton Stops Her Car To Get Out & Chat With 3-Year-Old Who Shouted ‘Hello, Princess!’

The Princess of Wales took a rare pause out of her busy day to make sure one young fan felt seen. Kate Middleton halted her royal convoy while on duty Jan. 30, getting out of the car to chat with a toddler who had been calling for her. 3-year-old Lily-Rose had reportedly shouted “Hello, Princess!” from a crowd of onlookers as Kate’s motorcade drove by, catching the royal’s attention. Video of the sweet moment captured Kate greeting Lily-Rose, who asked her “are you a princess?” The mom of three responded by telling the child that she’d heard her say hello “from all the way back there” and wanted to come and see her and her village. Kate had been visiting Corgi, a nearby knitwear and sock factory, when she had her impromptu meet-and-greet. The same day, she also visited children at a local hospice.
