Kate Middleton Opens Up About Finding ‘Peace’ In Nature In Surprise Video: ‘So Meaningful’

Kate Middleton is connecting with nature – and with the next generation. The Princess of Wales made a surprise visit to the Lake District in the UK, where she got to meet some young Scouts working toward their Naturalist badges. In a short film about her experience shared on her and Prince William’s YouTube account, she opened up about how important the outdoors has always been to her. “I find it a very spiritual and very intense emotional reconnection, I suppose, these environments. Not everyone has that same relationship perhaps with nature, but it is so therefore meaningful for me, as a place to balance and find a sort of sense of peace and reconnection in what is otherwise a busy world,” she shared.
