Donald Trump Booed By Knicks Fans During NBA Finals at Madison Square Garden
The stars came out to watch the New York Knicks face off with the San Antonio Spurs at Madison Square Garden for game 3 of the NBA Finals. Longtime Knicks fans Timothée Chalamet, Ben Stiller, Christine Taylor, and Tracy Morgan all sat next to each other, with Josh Safdie joining Chalamet while Tina Fey joined Morgan. Further down in the row, Spike Lee was also spotted, wearing a New York bucket hat and jersey that said “Pope Leo,” which was also signed by the pontiff, above the number 14. Plus, Jay-Z, Mariska Hargitay, Christopher Meloni, Adrien Brody, Fat Joe, DJ Khaled, Larry David, and Chris Rock were all in attendance. Additionally, Cardi B, who sat courtside with her son Wave, performed during half time. The total number of celebrities at the game was 96, according to the NBA. In addition to the star power at Monday night’s game, President Donald Trump was also present, sitting with Knicks owner, James Dolan, who had extended Trump the invite, in his suite. When Trump was shown on the jumbotron, boos erupted throughout the stadium, according to video posted on social media. The San Antonio Spurs ended up beating the Knicks 115-111.
