Dolly Parton’s Manager Gives Health Update After Sister Asks Fans For Prayers

A representative for Dolly Parton is clearing the air on concerns about the country icon’s health status. On Oct. 7, Dolly’s sister Freida Parton made a facebook post saying that she was “up all night praying” for her sister and that the singer hasn’t been feeling well. Later that day, Dolly’s manager Olly Rowland jumped in to calm some concerns following Frieda’s post, telling The Las Vegas-Review Journal, “It’s just the kidney stones, and the procedure she needs to resolve those.” Olly added, “It looks like her sister posted, and it got quite a bit blown out of proportion, weirdly.”
