David Boreanaz Reflects On His Road To Stardom Before ‘Buffy The Vampire Slayer’

TV favorite David Boreanaz rose to fame as the vampire Angel on “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” then the spinoff “Angel,” the crime drama “Bones” and, most recently, “SEAL Team.” In celebration of nearly 30 years of the Television Academy Foundation’s “The Interviews” series, Access Hollywood has partnered with the Academy to highlight their archives with the series, “Access Icons: The Interviews.” As part of the series, Zuri Hall sat down exclusively with David where he reflected on his road to success and why he calls it “a climb,” recalling a big break in 1993 when he guest-starred opposite Christina Applegate on “Married With Children.” The James Garner archive interview featured in this segment is courtesy of the Television Academy Foundation.
