‘Dancing With the Stars’ Pro Val Chmerkovskiy Gives Health Update After Hospitalization

Val Chmerkovskiy is sharing another health update after he was hospitalized and forced to miss a stop during the “Dancing With the Stars” tour. On Tuesday, March 3, the three-time Mirrorball Champion took to Instagram to announce that he has BPPV, Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo. “Thank God, there’s no tumor in my brain – God forbid. And thankfully, it’s not related to my neck injury. And so, having ruled those things out, I feel a lot better,” he shared in part. The 39-year-old went on to reveal that he was cleared to return to the show that night. Chmerkovskiy added that the tour’s PT was taking care of him and “doing the Epley maneuver.” “I’m still a little fuzzy here and there, but good enough to perform. And I’ll see you all tonight. Milwaukee, I love you. I’m out here, so no worries. Yeah, we back, baby, we back,” he concluded.
