Charlie Kirk’s Wife Erika Kirk Addresses Criticism Of Her Public Grieving 3 Months After His Death

Erika Kirk is addressing criticism about her public grieving nearly three months after her husband Charlie Kirk was fatally shot at Utah Valley University. During a Dec. 9 appearance on “Fox and Friends,” the mom of two discussed the release of her late husband’s final book, “Stop, in the Name of God: Why Honoring the Sabbath Will Transform Your Life,” and shared how his words impact her while she deals with outside noise. “These are his last words written that were on his heart. He finished this in July when we were together as a family, and I can’t help but think when you read this book, he’s basically saying, like – I am getting so much noise from everyone, and you guys get this too. You get the echo chamber. You get people analyzing everything about you,” she said, adding, “They think they know everything about you. They know nothing about you. They see you on TV, they think, ‘Oh, she’s this, she’s that. He said this. He said that.’ And honestly, it’s Charlie saying, ‘Baby. Just stop. Stop. You don’t have to answer to every single person that’s accusing you of things or saying that you’re doing this or grieving a certain way.”’
