Celine Dion Cancels World Tour Amid Battle With Rare Neurological Illness: ‘I’m So Sorry’

Celine Dion’s world tour won’t go on amid her continued health challenges. The music superstar announced on Friday that she is cancelling all scheduled concert dates through April 2024, sharing the news in a lengthy social media post while apologizing to fans who were looking forward to seeing her return to the stage. Celine shared her regret and promised that she’ll do everything she can to come back stronger than ever. “I’m so sorry to disappoint all of you once again. I’m working really hard to build back my strength, but touring can be very difficult even when you’re 100 percent,” her statement read. “It’s not fair to you to keep postponing the shows, and even though it breaks my heart, it’s best that we cancel everything now until I’m really ready to be back on stage again. I want you all to know, I’m not giving up… and I can’t wait to see you again!”
