Zoë Kravitz is committed to her craft.
The star, who marks her directorial debut with the film, spoke with Access Hollywood’s Zuri Hall at the premiere of “Blink Twice” and shared about how it feels having it finally coming out.
“I started writing this seven years ago, so to be here now is kind of surreal. I feel like, when you stick with something that long, it means that you really care for it and you really believe in it. So I’m really proud of what we’ve made,” she said.

View GalleryShe also talked about what she enjoyed most about directing and what she found to be the most challenging.
“Everything. The whole experience of directing is challenging. I think the most beautiful thing I learned is how to stay creative in a crisis. When things don’t go right and it’s not going as planned and you still have to be your most creative self, and I think that’s actually where some of the most beautiful ideas and moments and solutions come from,” she shared.
She also talked about directing her fiancé Channing Tatum in the movie.
“He’s so amazing in the film. I’m so excited for people to see him do something different than what he’s done before. I think working with your partner is an amazing experience, when you get to be creative together. We know there’s a lot of trust there. So I’m very thankful for that,” she shared.
“Blink Twice” is in theaters on Aug. 23.
