Looks like Gal Gadot will be donning knee-high boots and a lasso for the next few years.
The Israeli actress, who was recently cast as Wonder Woman in the upcoming “Man of Steel” sequel, signed a three-picture deal with Warner Bros., according to Variety.
The trade paper reports Gal will appear as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman in the already announced Batman/Superman film, and will also appear in a Justice League film and a Wonder Woman-centered standalone movie.
Fans of the DC universe will have to wait longer than initially expected to see Gal suited up as the Amazonian princess – the “Man of Steel” sequel’s release date was recently delayed by 10 months and is currently set for May 6, 2016.
The Zack Snyder-helmed film was originally set for release on July 17, 2015.
