Stevie Wonder expanded his brood, welcoming his ninth child, his rep confirmed to Us Weekly.
The Grammy-winning singer’s girlfriend Tomeeka Robyn Bracy gave birth to their second baby together, a girl.
The couple had been rumored to be expecting triplets, but the singer cleared that up on a November 5 appearance on “The View.”

“I’ve got how many, 22 kids? No, actually it’s not true. The truth is we’re gonna have a wonderful daughter born in December,” Stevie, 64, announced. “Her name is going to be Nia, which is ‘purpose’ and rumors spread and I like I said before in the song ‘Superstition,’ when you believe in things you don’t understand, you suffer.”
Besides the two children he and Tomeeka share, Stevie’s fathered seven additional children from previous relationships.

Stevie ended his 11 year marriage to Kai Millar Morris in August 2012, the Associated Press reported. They had two children together. His first wife, Syreeta Wright, died in July 2004 at the age of 58 from cancer.
