Sherri Shepherd took to Instagram to proudly show off her rockin’ new figure after shedding some extra pounds. The TV personality revealed that she has lost more than 25 pounds since March. Her weight loss secret? Eliminating sugar from her everyday diet!
“Getting it in!!! Over 260 days #sugarfree … can’t begin to describe how #amazing I feel,” she wrote alongside a pic of herself sporting black over-the knee boots on top of a pair of ripped camouflage jeans. “Can’t begin to describe how #amazing I feel,” she added.
Not only is the 51-year-old loving her slim body transformation, but Sherri is also enjoying all of the health benefits from going sugar free.
“Energy, clarity of thought and mind. Focused … patient w my son. Hearing from God a lot more clearly. Present,” she added in her caption. “I’ve done this slowly and steadily and since March I’ve come down over 25lbs. This is not a fad – it’s my life that is at stake. It feels so good to feel #good.”

The former “View” host revealed that she has accomplished her goals by sticking with the Keto diet. The star added #ketodiva & ketogenic in her post. The diet is popular among celebs and it entails a low-carb, high-fat lifestyle.
The star has been extremely open with her weight struggle in the past. Sherri even wrote a book about her issues with weight loss and being diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes back in 2013, “Plan D: How to Lose Weight and Beat Diabetes (Even If You Don’t Have It).”
