Christmas at grandma Carole Middleton’s house sounds like a top notch time!
In her first ever interview, Carole Middleton, who is Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton’s mom, is pulling back the curtain on just how fabulous the holidays are at her house. Carole, who has been no stranger to the press as mom to Kate, Pippa Middleton and James Middleton, has never talked openly about her royal and famous family — until now!
Carole and her husband Michael live in a small hamlet named Bucklebury, which is 50 miles outside of London. The sweet town has earned worldwide fame since fans of the royals learned that Kate and Prince William often head out to her parent’s country home in order to get away from the media hubbub back at Kensington Palace.
And — if Carole’s Christmas plans are anything like her day-to-day, it sounds like it’s an awesome place to be.
Carole told The Telegraph that her grandkids Prince George and Princess Charlotte get their own trees in their own rooms so they each have something to decorate.
They also have a lovely champagne lunch ahead of a more traditional Christmas dinner with the whole family.
Carole has four grandkids to spoil this year! Both her daughters welcomed children this year, Kate with Prince Louis and Pippa with her first child, son, Theodore.
Carole also revealed to The Telegraph the reason she stays mum when it comes to her famous kiddos.
“Over the years, it’s proved wise not to say anything,” she shared.
Noted, Carole!
