Singer and new “X Factor” judge Paulina Rubio has sold over 20 million albums during her career, but many people might not be familiar with the 41-year-old international star.

She Is A Seasoned Reality TV Judge: Going head-to-head with fellow judges Simon Cowell, Demi Lovato and Kelly Rowland won’t be hard for the singer. The Mexican singer has been a judge on “La Voz Mexico,” the country’s version of “The Voice,” and also its younger counterpart on “La Voz Kids.”

She’s A Hit-Maker Across Borders: Paulina has had numerous hit songs and albums in the Latin music world and broke out stateside with the 2002 hit, “Don’t Say Goodbye” (See the video!). The singer’s most recent album, “Brava!” and the EP “Brava! Reloaded” spawned the hit “Boys Will Be Boys” (Watch the video!). Overall, she’s sold more than 20 million records worldwide.
She’s A Multi-Threat & Former Paris Hilton Co-star!: In addition to singing, Paulina is an actress, hostess, model and businesswoman. In 2006, she had small cameo, playing herself in “Pledge This!,” which starred Paris Hilton and former MTV VJ Simon Rex.
She’s A Single Working Mother: In March, Paulina and Nicolas Najera finalized their divorce settlement after almost five years of marriage. The couple now shares custody of their son, Andrea Nicholas, 2. She is reportedly now linked to 28-year-old boyfriend Gerardo Bazua, who was once a contestant on “La Voz Mexico.” They were spotted “canoodling” in Cancun, Mexico in March.
She’s Not Afraid To Speak Her Mind – Even To The Police!: In June 2011, the singer was arrested after allegedly refusing to comply with a police officer in Miami after a car accident. She allegedly cursed at the arresting office and said, “all of you Miami cops are abusive.”
