After months of speculation and rumors, Johnny Depp and his longtime partner Vanessa Paradis have confirmed their split after 14 years together.
The actor and Vanessa “have amicably separated,” a rep for the actor told AccessHollywood.com on Tuesday.
Adding, “Please respect their privacy and, more importantly, the privacy of their children.”
In January, reports surfaced claiming the box office star, 49, and Vanessa, 39, drifted apart and were leading separate lives after moving from France to Los Angeles.
In May, a report out of Britain claimed that the actor had denied rumors of a split, reportedly telling The Sun, “No way… the rumors are not true. No matter what I say about this, people believe the opposite. I can’t say enough about it not being over.”
The former couple has two children together Lily-Rose, 13, and Jack, 9.
The “Dark Shadows” star and Vanessa began dating in June 1998.
