Yes, Jessica Simpson fans, your dreams are coming true.
After months of rumors, the 35-year-old beauty has announced her imminent return to music.
“That’s how I started; that’s always [been] one of my biggest passions in the world,” Jessica, who launched her incredibly successful design line 10 years ago, said on the “Today” show on Wednesday. “I love to use my voice.”
The singer and mom of two is currently building a recording studio in her home in preparation for her return.
Once the studio is completed, Jessica said she’ll be “down in the basement recording” immediately.
“I’m sure my kids will completely take over,” she added, of daughter Maxwell, 3, and son Ace, 2.
While Jessica is ready to deliver hits once again, there’s one part of the former “Newlyweds” star’s past that won’t be making a comeback: a reality show.
“That’s very rear view [mirror],” she said. “Having a camera on me at all times, I mean we all know I stick my foot in my mouth a little bit too much.”

Jess hinted at new music back in late March, when she posted an Instagram photo of her herself with Columbia Records exec Teresa LaBarbera Whites.
