Charlie Sheen was booed, heckled and many audience members shouted “refund” during the actor’s first night of his “My Violent Torpedo of Truth/Defeat is Not an Option” tour in Detroit – so how did he do on his second night of the tour?
According to multiple online reports, the former “Two and a Half Men” star faired better when his tour hit Chicago.
According to People, only a handful of patrons walked out of the 3,600-seat Chicago Theatre, which was reportedly approximately 75% full and only a few shouts of “refund” were heard in the theater.
Charlie switched up the format of the show, this time using a moderator (the man was reportedly never introduced or identified), who asked him questions during the 90-minute show.
According to the mag, the actor told the crowd to “not to become [expletive] Detroit tonight. Let’s show Detroit how it’s [expletive] done,” and referred to his first show as a “horror.”
The crowd then reportedly began chanting, “Detroit sucks.”
According to TMZ, the actor covered a wide range of topics including his marriages, a poem about how much he hates Detroit, past drug use, partying with rock stars, movie roles he passed on and how much money he owes Heidi Fleiss.
During the show, he also reportedly called Jon Cyrer a “rock star” said dad Martin Sheen “has great advice” and ended the show reading a poem from one of his goddesses.
Following the performance, Sheen reTweeted a fan’s Tweet, saying, “TOOK ONE NIGHT BUT HE IS #winning. Yet again”
