Emma Roberts is headed for the altar!
The “Space Cadet” star, 33, announced her engagement to actor Cody John after two years of dating. Emma posed with her new fiancé in a sweet Instagram photo posted July 16, showing off a round-cut sparkler on her left ring finger.
She and Cody have appeared head over heels for each other since debuting their relationship in 2022, but Emma hinted that she’s not the only one excited about her bride-to-be status.
“Putting this here before my mom tells everyone,” she wrote in her caption, poking playful fun at her mother, Kelly Cunningham.
The actress’ comment is a likely reference to Kelly’s accidental social media flub when she shared a photo of Emma’s son, Rhodes, last year without permission.
Emma called out the moment on her Instagram story but indicated that she wasn’t holding any grudges.
“When your mom posts your sons face without asking but you love them both so whatever,” she teased at the time.
The “Scream Queens” alum shares Rhodes, 3, with ex-boyfriend Garrett Hedlund. She was previously engaged to fellow “American Horror Story” actor Evan Peters.
Celebrity pals flocked to the comment section of Emma’s latest post to congratulate her and Cody on their happy news, with Julianne Hough, Ashley Tisdale, Lindsay Lohan and Nina Dobrev among those sending well wishes.
And pal Lea Michele indicated her excitement to get the wedding festivities underway!
“Already planning the bachelorette!!!! So happy for you babe!!! 😍💓” the “Glee” star wrote.
