Following “Bones” star David Boreanaz’s public admission of infidelity, his wife, Jaime Bergman, says she’s “still angry” but attempting to move forward.
“I’m not saying everything’s okay,” Jaime told People. “I’m still angry. I’m still mad. I am still hurt. “
Jaime and David, who have two children together – Jaden, 8, and Bella, 8 months – have reportedly been going to therapy for the past year.
“It took a crisis, it took infidelity to get us off our asses and work for what we want,” Jaime continued. “We do the best we can. That’s all we can do.”
As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, David had previously told People that a woman, whom he would not name, contacted his attorney, Marty Singer, and asked for money. She allegedly also said, according to the actor, that she would reach out to the press.
“I was associated with a woman who I was involved with and had a relationship with,” David told the mag, previously. “She asked for money. I felt as though I was being blackmailed or there was some sort of extortion.”
On Thursday, Rachel Uchitel, a woman with reported ties to the actor, released a statement through her lawyer claiming she has no current connection to the star.
“David Boreanaz is not part of my life, nor will he be. I am not in communication with him and do not wish to be,” Rachel said in a statement provided by her attorney, Gloria Allred, to Access Hollywood.
