Zoe Saldaña Reveals She Used to Practice Award Wins In the Shower With Shampoo Bottles (Exclusive)

Zoe Saldaña is a Golden Globe winner! The actress received her first ever Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture for her performance as Rita Mora Castro in “Emilia Perez.” Chatting with Access Hollywood after her win on Jan. 5, the 46-year-old revealed that she has practiced accepting an award before while in the shower! “You don’t want to ever confess that there were so many countless moments in which you were in the shower ‘receiving’ an award with your shampoo bottle. And I’m just going to confess it – I was one of those people,” she admitted before joking that her acceptance speech on stage Sunday didn’t go the way she rehearsed previously, sharing, “The music rolled, and I was like I’m not done – wait a minute!” Plus, the “Avatar” star also gushed over husband’s, Marco Perego-Saldaña, support of her. “He is so proud of me and he’s just such an incredibly wild and beautiful person. He’s the one that always encourages me to live my most authentic self out loud and unapologetically, so I owe him a lot. Marco – you’re everything!”
