Scooter Braun Announces Retirement From Music Management After 23 Years

Scooter Braun, known for managing top artists like Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande, has announced he is retiring from talent management. The news came in an extensive statement on June 17, in which the music mogul says he wants to prioritize his three children. With his retirement, he is also transitioning into his role as CEO of entertainment company Hybe America. Braun in recent years has found himself at the center of controversy including the acquisition of the rights of Taylor Swift’s first six albums as well as some of his top clients reportedly leaving him to find new management.
